When a query on a complex dataset does not involve one of its tables, the join elimination feature 'ignores' that table. This options accelerates the query execution and visual rendering.
Join elimination does not delete joins between data tables that comprise the dataset. Instead, where applicable, it accelerates the query and subsequent rendering of visuals. This feature is enabled by default, and applies only to datasets that are comprised of left outer joined tables.
