Changing the Bucket Count

The default number of histogram buckets is 10, but you can easily change the number of buckets. In this example, we increase the count to 20.

1. In the Settings modal window, under the Basic tab, enter a new value for Bucket count.

   We used 20.

   

2. After clicking Apply and refreshing the visual, note the appearance of the histogram when the number of buckets doubles, and the range of values covered by each bucket is therefore reduced by half.
