Normalizing the Histogram

To report the histogram as a percentage of a whole, the histogram count is normalized to add up to 1, and then the bars represent the proportionate frequency.

  1. In the Settings modal window, under the Basic tab, select Normalized histogram.

  2. After clicking Apply and refreshing the visual, note the change to the appearance of the histogram and its vertical axis.
