Customizing Marks
Several display options may be managed from the Marks menu, depending on the chart type in the visual.
- When working with Combined Bar/Line visuals, you can change the highlight mark type, convert the line portion of the visual into an area plot, change the size of the highlight, change the visibility of data points, and change the bar size.
- When working with Bar or Grouped Bar visuals, you can change the visibility of the legend, display linear trendlines (and also separate them by color and
adjust the precision of trendline calculations), and specify the bar size range.
- When working with Line or Area visuals, you can change the visibility of the legend, reverse legend order, display linear trendlines (and also separate them by color and
adjust the precision of calculations), change the visibility of data points, and choose to ignore missing dates.
- When working with Scatter visuals, you can change the size range of the mark, visibility of the legend, enable autoplay
transition animation (and adjust its
speed), display linear trendlines (and
also separate them by color and adjust the precision of trendline calculations), and change
the visibility of data points.
- When working with Pie visuals, you can change the visibility of the legend, and adjust the arc
width (thickness of the 'doughnut').
- When working with Radial visuals, you can change the visibility of the legend, and choose to overlap marks.
- When working with Map visuals, you can change the visibility of the legend, reverse legend order, choose to display marks as bubbles, and change the marks size range.
