Arcadia Enterprise uses two 3rd-party options for its interactive maps: Google and Mapbox. We use the Tile Layer setting to specify the mapping choice.
The following steps demonstrate how to switch between Google and Mapbox interactive map representation.
Clone the visual previously built in Interactive Map Visuals.
For a reminder on how to clone visuals, see Cloning Visuals.
In the top visual menu, on the right side, click Settings.
In the Settings interface, select the Tile Layers tab, and note that the two options for maps are Google Maps and Mapbox.
Select the Mapbox option, enter Mapbox Id, and click Apply.
Click Refresh Visual to see the map rendered with Mapbox option.
The one which we chose here is the satellite option. See the Mapbox documentation.
The one we have here is a Google INEGI map.
Notice that in this representation, there is regional overlap. You can see the boundaries of each region by hovering the pointer over a section of the map.
The total count of measurements in each region is in the circle inside the region.
To see more detail, manipulate the map through magnification changes. You can also click on the map and manually 'pan' it to the area of interest. The following image shows that the regions automatically adjust into smaller sections, and you can see both greater detail and more individual 'totals'.
