Exporting Visuals and Dashboards

In Arcadia Enterprise, you can export selected visuals or dashboards. The process captures all the dpendencies, such as datasets and custom styles.

  1. Click Visuals in the top navigation menu.
  2. Select the app that contains the visuals or dashboards for export. You can also select them from the All, My Favorites, or Popular groupings.

In this demonstration, we are using the Documentation Collateral app.

  3. Select one or more visuals and dashboards.

We selected three visuals: Average population by <<dim>>, Average population by <<dim:stname>>, and Average population by <dim:stname>> and <<agg>>.

  4. In the (supplemental) menu across the top, click Export Selected Visuals.

  6. Change the name of the file; this is optional, of course. Here, we used visuals_only_param_populations.

To see what visual artifacts are exported, click Show Details. Notice that in addition to the three visuals we selected, the export file includes a dependency, the dataset that they share: US County Population.

    Click Export.

  7. This starts the download of the export file to your default download folder.

You can confirm the success of the export by finding the file on your system.
