Customizing Field Properties

When you add a field to one of the shelves in the visual's Edit mode, you can also configure the data options for that field.

To customize the field properties used in an Arcadia Enterprise visual, follow these steps:

1. In Edit mode, click on a field after adding it to one of the shelves of a visual, to see all customizations.

   

2. The options for representing the data are grouped under the following menus:

   • Aggregates
   • Date/Time Functions
   • Text Functions
   • Analytic Functions
   • Change Type
   • Order and Top K
   • [] Enter/Edit Expression
   • Display Format
   • Alias
   • Description
   • Duplicate
   • Save as Derived Data
   • Remove, which removes the field from the shelf.
