If you use Pluggable Authentication Modules (PAM) for authentication, such as PAM authentication with a corporate directory, you can specify the necessary configuration within the Ambari.
In the Ambari Web interface, select Arcadia Enterprise, and select Configs.
Open Advanced arcadia-visualization-server, and select ArcViz Settings.
PAM_AUTH_CREATE_USER=True
PAM_AUTH_SERVICE='login'
AUTHENTICATION_BACKENDS = (
'arcweb.backends.PamBackend',
'django.contrib.auth.backends.ModelBackend',
)
If a PAM authentication service for Arcadia has a unique service name, replace the
login
with the name of that service.
For example, if the custom PAM authentication service is myPAM
,
the code you add to the settings in the previous step would be:
PAM_AUTH_CREATE_USER=True
PAM_AUTH_SERVICE='myPAM'
AUTHENTICATION_BACKENDS = (
'arcweb.backends.PamBackend',
'django.contrib.auth.backends.ModelBackend',
)
