Specify Synonyms for Dataset in NLS

In Arcadia Enterprise, you can specify synonyms for dataset fields; these words can be used in Natural Language Search.

To specify alternate words for field of the dataset, you can simply add them to the column Matching search terms. Separate synonyms by a single space, and use quotations for phrases.

Follow these steps to define synonyms in the dataset:

1. Under Fields, add synonymous terms that can be searched through NLS.

   For example, we added the terms establishment, business, restaurant, and cafe for the column Business Name.

   

2. Click Save.
